The Faculty of Economics of University of Banja Luka has organized VI International REDETE Conference, which took place in Banja Luka from 12th to 15th of April 2018. (www.redete.org). The participants were coming from more than 20 countries including UK, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Italy, Turkey, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland, Ukraine and the countries from South East Europe region. Within the VI REDETE Conference venue, beside the scientific discussions and the research papers presentation sessions, the three parallel events took place:
1. Business meetings of European Entrepreneurship Network which had a focus on the networking of representatives of academia, business community and public sector
2. Round table of development agencies from Europe and the region, which was organized by CIDEA – The City Development Agency from Banja Luka
3. Celebration of 20th anniversary of the Journal of Balkan and Near Eastern Studies (JBNES), published by Taylor and Francis Group from London.
Thanks to above mentioned activities, the VI REDETE conference beside very significant scientific contribution in the areas of economy, entrepreneurship, political economy and business, also had a very important role in linking the academics, real sector representatives and government officials and thus contributing to the solution of problems and misunderstandings that exist among these sectors.
